Country Life

Rich is another young farmer who grew up on a farm and knew there was no other job for him. Over the past 10 years he's worked alongside his father on 199 acre New House Farm producing an average of 1,800 litres of milk a day from 90 Holstein cows.

For Rich, the welfare of the cows is his top priority. He believes absolutely that they produce the best possible milk when given the best possible care and attention. The other things close to his heart are the benefits of buying British. "Buying British will ensure that you are always buying the best quality and best tasting milk."

While Rich admits the commitment farming takes does have an impact on his social time, it comes with real rewards. One of the highlights of his week comes during the weekly shop he does with his wife. There's nothing quite like seeing his products on the shelf and thinking, 'I made that!'
